According to Borrell Associates, estimated local advertisers spent $7.5 billion on the Web in 2007, up 31 percent from 2006. This year's outlook is even brighter with a projected increase of 48 percent to $12.6 billion. Local search is the key driver of that spending.

One of the most popular reasons why search engines are so popular is simply because people are always searching for all sorts of things on the Internet. It's really incredible the amount of information available online nowadays, you really can find anything your heart desires. The best place you can go to is a search engine, these engines allow you to search directly for what you want by using keywords, or you can also pick categories and subcategories on their websites to find what you want.
